Approximately 30,000 m<sub><sup>3</sup></sub> of water hide a singular underwater landscape. Canopied wicker beach chairs, sunbathing meadows, a giant chute and a cocktail bar complement the range of amusements. </p><br /><h3>Take a walk on the wild side</h3><p>On a walk of about 1 and 1/2 hours you accompany a "sorcerer" on her way to the scenes of the most horrorful myths of Emsdetten. Instead, it is a wickerwork basket which farmers used to separate the chaff from the wheat. When visiting the August-Holländer-Museum you get introduced to the whole range of interesting facts around the production of textiles: starting at the pre-industrial production (home weaving) up to the industrial manufacturing of the textiles. Guided tours upon request. At the Saerbeck distillery museum you are presented with the manufacturing process of grain spirit, the beloved drink of the Münsterland residents. Ask your guide to be given the chance of tasting. </p><br /><h3>City park</h3><p>When walking the Blumenstrasse you find the city park located directly beside the Emsdetten woodland open-air swimming pool.
